About Mrs. Billings
I was born and raised in the Whittier area.  I earned my B.S in Molecular & Cellular Biology with a minor in psychology at UC Davis in 2003.  I returned home for my teaching credential in both Biology and Chemistry from Cal State Fullerton in 2004 and began teaching at Cal in the fall of 2004.  I received my masters in education from Whittier College in 2009.  As you can see I'm a highly qualified teacher on paper, but I absolutely love what I do on a daily basis.  Teaching chemistry is my calling and my passion.  I love inspiring students to grow in the difficult subject of chemistry and watch them mature as a result of tackling all of the complex material they will learn throughout the year.  In my limited spare time I love spending time with my family (my husband, 6-yr old daughter, and almost 3-yr old son), hosting friends and family for dinner, and playing board games with friends.

Things to Remember
CHEM-IS-TRY!!!  If you put the time and effort into this difficult course you will not only be able to pass but may also get to learn some amazing tidbits about our world around us.

Alumni
Dearest former students: Please don't forget to come back and visit and tell me how you've been since you graduated.  I'd love to proudly display your college pennant to inspire future Condors to success just like you!
