Coach Ramirez


            Jeff enters his twentieth season as a coach in the baseball program.  This season for all of his hard work and dedication to Condor Baseball program he has been promoted to Associate Head Coach of the program.  He along with Coach Nieto will now guide the Condor Baseball program together.  Jeff has been a part of a CIF championship (2000), 5 Quarter Finals, 3 Semi-Final appearances, over 20 Del Rio League championships and has helped coach numerous players that have went on to play in college and in the professional ranks.  Ramirez is a Cal High Baseball Alumni, Class of 1995 and a member of the Condor Baseball Hall of Fame (inducted in 2004). He was an All-League infielder his junior and senior years and was varsity captain his senior season. He was also an assistant coach on the 2000 CIF championship team.  In tribute to all of Coach Ramirez’ contributions to the baseball program his number 29 has been retired. 

Currently, he is on staff at Cal High as the Department Chair of Physical Education, as well as advisor for the Men's League Board club. He earned his BA in Kinesiology with a minor in Mathematics from Cal State Fullerton in 2001 and has a Master's from Concordia University.

            Coach Ramirez and his wife Rebecca (Cal High Alum, 1996) have two children, Kiara (12) and Nicholas (10).
