The PUENTE Project is a national award-winning program that has improved the college going rate of tens of thousands of California's educationally underrepresented students. The statewide program is co-sponsored by the University of California Office of Educational Partnerships, and is headquartered at UC Berkeley. PUENTE APPLICATIONS for the 2022-2023 school year will be announced at the end of January 2022
We are making every effort to ensure that our students continue to meet the rigorous demands of the Puente Project, including, but not limited to, satisfying the A-G requirements. Our foremost expectation is that students receive a "C" or better in all of their college prep courses. Students who are not meeting this requirement will be placed on a contract in hopes of helping them improve their grades. Students earning at least a 3.0 GPA (cumulative & weighted) in their A-G courses are exempt from this contract.
THOSE WHO CONTINUOUSLY FAIL TO EARN A "C" OR BETTER IN THEIR A-G COURSES WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PROGRAM INDEFINITELY
