Detention Policy

Any school faculty or staff member may issue a detention to a student.

Students are required to have a parent signature on the detention slip.

Detentions issued must be served within five school days.

Detentions may be served at lunch or after school Monday-Thursday

or before school on Wednesday or Thursday. Students may be pulled from embedded support in order to fulfill their detention.

Step Two

If detentions are not served, student will be required to serve Saturday School.

The teacher issues a referral to Viewpoint; Sat. School is assigned

& then student is sent back to class.

Step Three

If Saturday School is not fulfilled on the date provided, student will receive one full day of In-House Suspension.
