California College of the Arts is offering a Pre-College Program for students who have completed their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school.  Students who complete these courses will receive 3 units from this college.  Interested students can go to www.cca.edu/precollege for more information

Washington University in St. Louis
is offering high school summer experiences.  Courses of study could include foreign languages, humanities, math and science, and social science classes.  Options in pre-medicine, pre-business, and english are also available.  These programs are five weeks long.  Shorter, two-week sessions are offered in writing, pre-engineering, global leadership, and pre-med.  Fees are high, but the cost covers housing, meals, seminars, social activities, transportation, and books and supplies.  To be eligible students must be sophomores, juniors or seniors with a B+ GPA, and SAT score of 1800 or a PSAT score of 180.  Interested students can go to www.summerexperiences.wustl.edu/courses for more information.
