The Career Fair is coming to CalHi on Friday, Feb 1st.  See the side flyer for more information and to sign up if you are a business and would like a table.

 

The Laura Christine Allen Scholarship is now open.  To be eligible you must be a female, graduating senior who has participated in at least two years (including senior year).  The scholarship application is available in Z6 or on the side panel.

 

If you had a parent or Grandparent graduate from CalHi, you are eligible to apply to the Legacy Scholarship.  See the flyer on the side panel for more information.

The Coolidge Scholarship is a Full-ride Presidential Scholarship.  High School JUNIORS are eligible to apply.  Students must demonstrate Academic Excellence, an interest in Public Policy and Coolidge Values, and also show humility and service.  Interested Juniors should apply at CoolidgeScholars.org  The deadline is Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 5pm (EST).  Flyers are on the side panel.

 

The Italian Catholic Federation is offering a scholarship for students with a least a 3.2 Cummulative GPA who are ROMAN CATHOLIC and of Italian Descent.  Interested students should go to www.icf.org for more information.  The application is due March 15, 2019.

Interested in serving in our nations Navy or Marine Corps?  Want to attend a four year university on a full scholarship?  Apply for the Naval Officers Triaing Corps Marine Option Scholarship.  Applicant must be a US citizen, within the Marine Corp height and weight standards, nor previous drug/alcohol involvement, be at least 17 but no older than 23 by Dec 31st of the year you start college, and have an SAT score or at least 1000 or an ACT score of at least 22.  See the side flyer for more information or contact SSGT Justine Triplett at Justin.triplett@marines.usmc.mil

FIDM's National Scholarship Competition has been announced!  Eight full one-year scholarships worth $31,500 will be awarded. Rhode Island School of Design is offering a pre-college program, June 22-Aug 3, 2019.  The program is open to all high school students who have completed either their sophomore or junior year.  Visit precollege.risd.edu for more information.

 

Columbia College Hollywood is offering summer programs in animation, digital film production, graphic design, music production and screenwriting.  Two sessions are offered starting July 8 and July 22.  See the flyer on the side panel for more information or go to columbiacollege.edu/summerprogram

Azusa Pacific University School of Music offers scholarships for all instruments and voice.  Audition dates include January 18, January 31, February 1-2, February 22, and March 15, 2019.  Undergraduate programs include commercial music, composition, music and worship, music education, performance and music.  Go to www.apu.edu/music/auditions for more information.

 

Washington University in St. Louis offers a summer program.  Sessions are available June 9 - August 3.  To be eligible for the Scholars Program you must be a sophomore or junior in high school with a 3.3 or higher GPA and an SAT of 1200 or an ACT of 25.  Summer Courses outside of the scholars program include Pre-medical, Pre-engineering, creative writing, Humanities, Global Leadership, Environmental Studies, Philosophy Neuroscience and Psychology, and Young Leaders.  To be eligible for these classes you must be a freshman - sophomore with a 3.3 GPA.   Visit summerexperiences.wustl.edu The application deadline is April 1, 2019
