Ahead of the first day of school on Aug. 14, Whittier Union teachers, staff and administrators gathered for Day 1 at Whittier High School to kick off the 2019-20 school year, welcoming the incoming Class of 2023 and watching the Class of 2020 embark on the final leg of their 720-day journey.
