I was the first in my family to graduate from a four-year university. I earned a bachelor's degree in American Literature & Culture from UCLA in 1998. I started working at Cal High back in the year 2000, and I am currently the 10th & 11th grade English department chair. I'm married with three children, and I live in the city of Whittier.
