everyone my name is Jose Velasquez I am 25 years old and I am b class of 2012 best aspect of va honestly the best aspects would be the teacher the teachers Day daycare they gave a bunch of advice the injector times even outside of work all the teachers really do make you feel like family me personally all the teachers made me feel comfortable in my own skin you can say confident which essentially made it easier how to speak in large crowds and that is something I do now everyday so it kind of prepared me for the future today I am the general manager at an El Torito corporate location El Cerrito is a Mexican food chain restaurant and bar we have Sunday brunch so they ever heard of us for that I didn't start actually had to start at the high school I got a job as a gymnastics coach and I did USA cheer instructor for all you traitors you know what that is while I went to college in college to get a business degree but that kind of didn't work out so well school is not for everybody but if you do what you want to do all for it when I turn 21 I audition to become a Disneyland for a performer and actually got it between the ages of 21 and 23 I did Disneyland and then I actually traveled with a company called insomniac perform for a bunch of their music festivals such as EDC Mexico EDC EDC Orlando EDC Japan and escape and nocturnal I turn 23 I decided it was time to a little bit more serious I was kind of done doing the little side gigs and you know getting paid minimum wage cuz even though you think isn't in my paver I then decided to get a job at El Torito which is the place I manage now I started so I became a when I was 23 was just kind of going to be the host of the host and then two months later they decided to actually promote me as a bartender and a bartender for a year-and-a-half and and got into management now that I've been I've been doing this for a year now a year I'm a Sears and I love it I honestly get paid to tell people what to do it is a big responsibility if you manage your team right it's honestly a breeze I do hope to one day open up my own restaurant so I am learning the most attend to there for incorporate all the things I learned in my own business someday I'll have my own restaurant High School is the best time of your childhood enjoy it cuz app you become an adult 100% there is no going back I'm pretty sure you'll have heard this but don't sweat the small stuff get your work done focus on your future to enjoy this time especially most most most of you guys had no jobs so there's so much more After High School of all those 3230 people that are sitting in your class right now you're probably going to see 225 maybe so cherish the moment you have right now favorite Business Academy memory although the rest of the team made it memorable honestly we are from the Christmas parties to do that to remember all my Christmas songs for happy she's bad Anna be a Wonderland dude fun times we had we had it at there's like pasta place in La Habra area I believe and I remember we all sat down in the dining table and emotional we all have to go one one by one and talk about like I don't like the best experience that we had to like what they meant to you and how you Brewin blah blah blah and I'm not going to kill you almost everyone cry like everyone just had such a great thing to say because each teacher just contribute so much to going into each student and its individual and helping them Branch out and helping them really get to know the person they are and helping them you know Eli for what it is and it really be open to giving everyone a chance to not judge a book by it's cover I guess you can say and last dinner so memorable to me because we had a heart-to-heart and it was well I think that is all I have to cover so I hope you guys all enjoyed this little clip I'll stay safe during this quarantine
